Wizard and Glass Audiobook is the fourth book in Stephen King’s The Dark Tower Series. The book’s subtitle is REGARD, fitting with the other “R” subtitles that appear in all of the books. The majority of the book is told in flashback, chronicling the story of Roland’s first love.
This book begins where The Waste Lands ended. After Jake, Eddie, Susannah and Roland fruitlessly riddle Blaine the Mono for several hours, Eddie defeats the mad computer by telling childish jokes. Blaine is unable to handle Eddie’s “illogical” riddles and short-circuits.
Roland and his band of followers have narrowly escaped one world and slipped into the next. There Roland tells them a tale of long-ago love and adventure involving a beautiful and quixotic woman named Susan Delgado. Fantastic! Fascinating to finally get some backstory for Roland and what a story! Loved it. I would say it’s my favorite so far, but I also thought the Gunslinger and The Drawing of the Three were 5 stars!
Stephen King – Wizard and Glass Audiobook was a real western romance, more so focusing on Roland and what made him the gunslinger he is when the reader is first introduced to him. Putting this in the fourth book really worked for me and really strengthened Roland’s arc.

Best series ever and it really picks up from here on out!
the series is great but the narrator is terrable puts way to much emphasis on words that need know emphasis makes it hard to understand the story should have stuck with the narrator from the first book
this narrator is the only one for this job!
I love this book, read it time past long ago. Listening brings it all back again. The narrator is quite good, I enjoy his changing inflections. Great book, great narration!
It's been so long sense iv had a book that I can't wait to read or listen to but this one has me. The narrator suits the gunslinger and the voices he does makes it seem like I'm listening to more then one reader. I'm loving this !
I love Stephen King and I adore his character development, but I wasn't thrilled about the ending of the book. However, I may edit my review after reading (listening to) the rest of the dark tower series. I think Frank Muller is an excellent narrator, but I gave 4 stars as the original narrator of The Gunslinger I felt was more suited to the characters of the book. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!
